GMA Network’s Philippine Adaptation of Descendants of the Sun is indeed a success.
The said series won the Most Popular Foreign Drama of the Year in the 15th Seoul International Drama Awards.
Lead actors Dingdong Dantes and Jennylyn Mercado couldn’t help but be delighted with the success of their series especially at this year 2020 Seoul International Drama Awards.

The primetime show was included in the list of winners along with two other international dramas: ‘Snowpiercer’ produced by the US network TNT and ‘The New Pope’ produced by Sky Atlantic and HBO.
