Sexy actress Ivana Alawi has declared her loyalty to ABS-CBN amid the shutdown.
Several artists have now decided to shift to other networks but it seems that the internet star will stay “forever” with the Kapamilya network.
Alawi signed an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN on February 7, 2020 and was tapped to play the titular character of the upcoming TV series Ang Lihim ni Ligaya.
This was supposed to be her first lead role in a series but it was unfortunately delayed by the pandemic and ABS-CBN’s forced closure on May 5, 2020.
In a statement, Alawi said she is proud of moving to her dream network despite the situation.
“I’m proud that I got a chance to sign with my dream network and I will forever be a Kapamilya,” Alawi said.
She also encouraged ABS-CBN employees who lost their jobs to keep their hopes up.
She added, “And doon sa mga employees na nawalan ng work, God has a better plan for all of us. Kapit lang, mga Kapamilya.”

Alawi is a Morrocan-Filipina who started her showbiz career as a contestant of the sixth season of StarStruck which aired on GMA Network in 2015.
In 2018, Alawi appeared in several Kapamilya series. She played as Rina in ABS-CBN’s Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Araw Gabi and a year later, she appeared as Amor in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
She made her movie debut in the film Open and was later cast in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry 3pol Trobol: Huli Ka Balbon, and appeared as Lolita in Sino ang Maysala?: Mea Culpa.
It was only this year when Alawi became an official Kapamilya artist.
