Actor Christian Bables confirmed that his show “Kahit Minsan Lang” will push through despite the shutdown of the ABS-CBN network and the threat of COVID-19.
Postponed lang daw po,” Bables said in an exclusive interview with PUSH entertainment website.
The series is set to premiere on Kapamilya Channel’s Primetime Bida and worldwide via The Filipino Channel.
The actor said that the show was only postponed and not canceled. He said that he does not have any information regarding when the shooting will start as the country is still struggling with the pandemic.
He also shared that even though the shoots of three of his movies were postponed, he was glad that he will shoot one of his films in August.
“Postponed din po ang shooting ng tatlong pelikulang gagawin ko, pero mag-i-start na po kami mag-shoot nung isa ngayong August,” he said.
He mentioned that while he was quarantined in his house in Quezon City, he still tries to be productive in his own way. He spends his time to relax and bond with the people in his house while still studying on how to further improve his acting.
“Kain, tulog, aral acting, nood movies, takutan, gulatan at makipaglaro sa PA and driver ko. Kumustahin ang pamilya at mga kaibigan,” he said.
He said that it was his continuous routine at home until he was given the blessing of having new endorsements that he didn’t expect to receive especially in times like these amid the pandemic.
“Nagkaroon po ako ng mga endorsements, so I got busy po sa mga endorsement shoots, meetings, and short film zoom shoots,” he mentioned.
When Bables was asked about his plans with his career now that ABS-CBN was shut down, he said “Kung plano po with my career, pinapaubaya ko na po sa manager ko, kay Tito Boy Abunda, ang lahat.”
He also said that he has plans on having his own Youtube channel wherein he explained that his content will not be the usual vlogging.
He shared that he still has communication with his co-stars in Halik. He said that they check on each other’s well-being from time to time.
Bables said that he is in constant communication with his co-star Jericho Rosales as he is seeking the actor’s advice in the interior design of his car.
“Hanggang ngayon, nagkakamustahan kaming lahat.
