Brace for kilig mornings as GMA Heart of Asia airs the hit romantic comedy ‘Madam Pushy and I’ from Thailand featuring the first team-up of Thai superstars Mario Maurer and Ploy Laila Boonsayak beginning Monday (August 10).
Madam Pushy (Ploy Laila Boonsayak) is an ambitious talent agent and manager who searches for a new potential star as she goes against her rival Jeric (Chai Chatayodom Hiranyatithi) in the industry. Madam Pushy blames Jeric for her best friend’s death and since then, vows to bring Jeric down.
With the help of her assistant, she finds Next (Mario) in the countryside, a young man who was adopted by a childless couple. Next agrees to work with Madam Pushy to build his finances to search for his biological parents.
