Actresses Alessandra de Rossi and Chynna Ortaleza raised awareness on how dangerous asymptomatic COVID-19 patients are and reminded people to avoid close contact with others.
On Twitter, Chynna Ortaleza shared that she met more ‘positive asymptomatic’ than ‘positive symptomatic’ COVID-19 patients and said that it is a reason the current situation is very dangerous.

[I learned a lot about the behavior of the virus from the stories of my friends and people around me. I have encountered more patients who are Positive Asymptomatic than those who are Positive Symptomatic. From this alone, we can know how dangerous the situation is.]
She then appealed to people to practice the different safety precautions to avoid contracting the virus.
Mag malasakit tayo sa isat- isa. Wear a mask & a face shield. Request for a test. A caring employer, organization or a caring individual will understand & hopefully help you secure one. 🙏🏻

Chynna has been vocal with her opinions on her Twitter account. She promotes mass testing and expresses appreciation to frontliners.
I would like to reiterate the value of requesting for a Swab Test or at the very least a Rapid Test when you are asked to report for work. Executive ka man o maintenance crew. Lahat tayo ay may karapatan dito.

Let us continue to pray for our health workers too. Please include them in your intentions today. But also please do your part in dropping the spread of infection. 🙏🏻 pic.twitter.com/lqYz7rviEg

Meanwhile, Alessandra de Rossi agreed and shared the tweet of Chynna. She also suggested that all of us should be considered ‘asymptomatics’.
Very true. Yung asymptomatic talaga na walang idea na meron, nakita lang sa swab test. PERO OK sya 100%. Kung di pa tinest, di nya malalaman ever. Dapat lahat tayo asymptomatic. Wala muna contact sa lahat kung maari. Paano ba maari? 😔 https://t.co/PEZ7p1ZuDJ

On July 29, the country recorded ‘mass recovery’ as the Department of Health announced additional recovery 38,075 cases. However, these recoveries are just the result of the “Oplan Recovery”.
“As endorsed by clinical practice guidelines and our technical advisory groups, patients with mild or no symptoms are tagged as recovered 14 days from the date of onset of symptoms or by date specimen collection,” the DOH said.
“Current recovery policies show that at the 10th day of illness, the risk of transmitting the virus to other people is significantly reduced,” the health agency added.
