A month after revealing she was already a mom, Sofia Andres has shared how her life has been so far and how her partner, Daniel Miranda, is coping as a first-time dad to their daughter, Zoe.
Andres said she appreciates Miranda and his efforts to make them feel loved and cared for. Sofia also said in an interview with Toni Gonzaga for I Feel U, that between them, Miranda is actually “more like the mom.”
“Lagi niya chine-check ‘yung temperature almost every day. Kapag may sipon, dala agad sa doctor. Siya ‘yung mas sensitive and mas OC. I am grateful for my family, for my partner and for Zoe. Sobrang nagpapasalamat ako na meron akong katulad nila sa life ko,” said Sofia.
Andres said from being rebellious in her younger years, she now understands why her parents were so strict with her when she was younger.
“Siyempre kapag babae ang anak, they will do everything para protektahan ka. Dati galit na galit ako sa kanila. Nagrebelde ako and all that. But now, I really appreciate everything kung gaano nila ako kamahal. Now I am giving it back,” she added.

Turning emotional, Andres recalled how she apologized to her parents for getting pregnant at a young age.
“I said sorry naman to them for what happened kasi hindi naman din sinasadya. But they said naiintindihan naman nila and blessing daw ‘yung bata. Okay na sa akin ‘yun, the fact na na-forgive nila ‘yung nagawa ko. At least now I understand bakit sila ganun,” she said.
Sofia also revealed that getting married is one thing but decided not to rush things between the two of them. They agreed to discover each other more and establish an unbreakable bond between themselves and their daughter, Zoe.
“Honestly, napag-usapan namin ‘yan and nag-agree kami sa isa’t isa na we don’t have to rush things. Mas maganda kasi na mas makilala pa namin ang isa’t isa and to actually establish the bonding with him and Zoe,” she said.
