The musical director of the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra, Gerard Salonga, couldn’t help but express his sentiments over the failure of House Committee on Legislative Franchises to renew the media giant’s franchise.
There are a lot of reasons Gerard’s heart is aching as seventy (70) members of the House of Representatives voted for “Yes” against its renewal.
First, Gerard’s job as a music director will be greatly affected.
We can see the depth of his anger against his friends who are seemingly happy about what happened to ABS0CBN and its franchise.
In a post exclusively for his friends on Facebook, he admitted that he holds grudge against those people.
Veteran singer, Jim Paredes commented, “They are evil ppl,” referring to their friends in the industry who celebrated over others’ loss.
Lea Salonga, who sympathized with her brother and said, “I need a copy of this list!” as seen from the thread of Gerard’s post.
Yesterday, the musical director clarified the viral screenshot of his post in a public announcement.
