Markus Paterson defended his rumored girlfriend Janella Salvador on accusations by her former personal assistant by airing his views on employment and salary in his recent tweets.
Janella was accused by her former personal assistant named Michelle Pelongco of not paying her salary of 3,600 pesos for the 12 days she worked for the actress before she was fired.
In his Twitter post, Paterson shared his views on various employment situations.
It doesn’t matter how much money you have, if you’re smart, the money you spend should be worth it. Let’s say for example, if a company hires an employee and that employee doesn’t work or do his/her job, syempre mawawalan sya ng trabaho.

He also wanted to point out that an employee doesn’t have the right to ask for his/her full month salary if he was fired before the month ends.
If that employee was fired halfway through the month, does that employee have the right to ask for his/her sweldo for the full month?

In another post, he expressed his disappointment in social media’s toxic culture with people trying to learn the gossip about other people amid the world pandemic.
“Sa totoo lang, social media nowadays is so toxic with people trying to get the latest gossip in other people’s lives. Look at the year the world has had. Look at the year this country has had. We have bigger issues to be working on. Let’s start with ya’ll attitude,” he posted.

Meanwhile, Janella broke her silence on with a post on Twitter.
The only time you are gonna hear from me about this PA “issue”.
Have a great day, everyone. ♥️ pic.twitter.com/TJZXJvNpey— Janella Salvador (@superjanella) July 7, 2020
Janella stressed that she doesn’t have to defend herself as she sees trial by media as an improper venue to discuss the issue. She also challenged Pelongco to sue her if she really had violated something.
The actress said she’d rather give more attention to the pandemic and to what is happening to ABS-CBN.
