Kapuso artist Jon Lucas is now COVID-free after his final test result showed that he’s already negative.
Through a Facebook post on June 25, the former Hashtags member shared his experiences when he was confined at New Era General Hospital (NEGH) for three days after testing positive with the deadly novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) through a rapid antibody-based test.
“[Three] days ako nag stay sa NEGH (New Era General Hospital).
Meaning parang dumaan lang siya,” he said.
He also admitted that he felt some symptoms associated with COVID-19 prior to his testing.
According to Lucas, he was already recovering when he subjected himself to a rapid-test and found out that he has a past infection.

Fortunately, the Descendants of the Sun star has fully recovered and has given the clearance to go home after the new results came out on the evening of June 24, showing that he is negative for COVID-19.
Lucas furthered.
Before he ended his lengthy post, the 24-year-old former Kapamilya star lauded all the doctors, nurses, and staff at the New Era General Hospital for their all hard work and sacrifices to serve and ensure the health and recovery of their patients amid this trying time.

Aside from Lucas, other celebrities who unfortunately contracted the deadly virus were Christopher de Leon, Iza Calzado, Sylvia Sanchez, and Nathalia Moon, all of whom have recovered.
Former actress Nina Jose and the singer of ’90s band Mulatto Joey Bautista also tested positive with COVID-19. The latter, however, died last March 19 before his test result came out.
