Grammy Award-winning rapper Cardi B got a taste of Filipino cuisine and posted about it on Instagram.
Among the Filipino dishes she loves, she mentioned nilagang baka, buko pandan, pansit bihon, empanada, lumpia shanghai, and buko salad.

On her Instagram stories on May 26, the American rapper declared her love for Pinoy home-cooked dishes as she tried lumpiang shanghai and buko salad which she referred to as fruit salad. She also said that the Pinoy lumpia is “good as hell” while the fruit salad “tastes wild good.”
In her video, while showing some Pinoy food, she also credited her Filipino aunt-in-law as the one who prepared the Filipino dishes.
“This cuisine is Philippines ’cause y’all know my aunt-in-law, my aunt… she’s like my aunt already because…Man! You’ve been around for 22 years?” Cardi said.
Twenty-seven-year-old Award-winning American rapper Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, otherwise known as Cardi B, became popular for her single “Bodak Yellow” through Atlantic Records. In 2019, she won a Grammy for her debut album, Invasion of Privacy.
In 2017, she got secretly married to Migos group member Offset and became a mother to a beautiful daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus on July 10, 2018.
