It’s been more than a month since ABS-CBN Network went off-air last May 5, due to the National Telecommunications Commission’s cease-and-desist order.
Kapamilya star Ejay Falcon was one of those who were greatly affected by the shutdown.
In an exclusive interview with PUSH, the actor admitted that he had anxiety attacks because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the controversial issue surrounding the ABS-CBN franchise.
He revealed, “At some point oo, nakakaramdam ako ng anxiety, kasi medyo mapag-isip din akong tao, lalo na kapag nasa bahay ka lang, kasi wala kang ginagawa kaya ang dami mong oras mag-isip, di ba?”
He then said he just tries to divert his attention to anything else like working out to cope up with the situation.
Moreover, Falcon also stated that even though he was able to adapt to the adjustments of his daily routine during the lockdown, he admitted that ABS-CBN’s shutdown is something he’ll never get used to.
In the same interview, Falcon revealed that he’s currently using the money he has saved from his past projects to support his family considering all projects are on hold due to lockdown.
He said, “Ginagamit ko muna ‘yung naipon sa mga nakaraang projects ko. Tipid-tipid muna siyempre.
Aside from this, the Kapamilya hunk shared that he’s planning to set a business but he still has not decided what kind of business to open.
Inisip namin yung something na in demand siyempre ngayong naka-quarantine tayo.”
Ejay Falcon rose to fame when he joined the reality game show, Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus in 2008, and later hailed as the batch’s Big Winner.
After his big win, Falcon appeared on several ABS-CBN shows like That’s My Doc (his first acting stint), Habang May Buhay, May Bukas Pa, Pasion de Amor, The Promise of Forever, The Blood Sisters, and Sandugo, which ended on March 20, just in time when the Luzon-wide lockdown was imposed.
In addition, he also appeared in several episodes of Maalaala Mo Kaya and Wansapanataym.
