It looks like GMA Network programming division is unprepared for newest shows that was supposed to fill those two primetime shows – “Genesis” and “Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas” ended last Friday. For three to four weeks, not sure though if “Carmela” and “Rhodora X” will start on January 27, Kapuso viewers will be watching different movies instead of regular primetime dramas.
Good or bad move on placing movies to fill in the slots, it will surely look to the viewers that GMA Network has shortage on new TV series and it’s definitely bad for primetime programming and will give their competition a sure edge and advantage. We haven’t seen yet the latest ratings but one thing’s for sure, win or lose, it’s still lose because movies will never be a competition.
