BB Gandanghari met with a lot of backlash even from the gay community when he underwent a transformation years ago.
It was only recently that BB finally answered some of her critics which included Vice Ganda and Ricky Reyes.
On BB Gandanghari’s YouTube Live last June 7, the transwoman shared a previous interview with Vice when he said he loves Rustom so why he should die just for BB to emerge.
“Pinalampas ko `yan noon. Look who’s talking? Sino ba ang makapal ang make up? Sabi ko nga, there’s a time for everything. It’s time to speak.”
She even compared Vice Ganda to bashers and trolls because of the comedian’s attitude.
“Wala siyang pinagkaiba sa mga haters, mga trollers. Eh, isa naman siya sa mga ganun, na kinasikat niya.”
BB has received a lot of negative comments from the LGBTQ community in the past.
“Ayaw mong tanggapin ang pagkababae ko, kukuwestyunin mo. Eh, wala ka naman palang sense.”
BB even said that Vice Ganda’s success in showbiz is pure luck, and even called her ‘bobita’.

“Masuwerte ka at sumikat ka, dahil bobita ka, `yun lang ang masasabi ko sa’yo. Hahahaha!”
Back then, Ricky Reyes and comedian Vice Ganda expressed their disapproval of BB Gandanghari’s transformation.
However, Vice immediately apologized and clarified that he has no issue with BB.
“Walang gan’on. Hindi ko inaaway si Bebe. Hindi rin naman ako inaaway ni Bebe. Wala siyang atraso sa akin. Hiningan lang ako ng reaction kaya nag-react ako… had I known na ma-o-offend siya, hindi na rin sana ako nagsalita, st since na-offend siya, nag-a-apologize ako… Nag-react lang ako bilang fan ni Rustom.”
