Sam Mangubat empowers listeners to embrace the healing power of heartbreak in his freshly released track “Hindi Na Nga,” produced under Star Music.

“’Hindi Na Nga’ is a song about someone who is sure to have moved on; that there’s no more space in his heart and mind to even consider giving another chance to a former beloved who terribly hurt him,” said the “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” season 1 grand finalist.

The new song is composed by songwriter-producer Kiko “KIKX” Salazar, as one of the tracks in his “After Dark ‘The Final Hour’” EP in celebration of his 10th musical anniversary.

KIKX said that the R&B ballad was inspired by the sound of ‘80s music. “I have been on an ‘80s journey for the past few months and been listening to some current tracks too. One thing I’ve noticed is how the current music now gives us the same retro vibes. So this whole nostalgic hiphop, R&B vibe started surfacing in my mind,” he shared.

He also described Sam’s interpretation as “sincere” and “heartfelt,” and hopes that the track will help brokenhearted people to “look forward to healing someday.”

Meanwhile Sam has definitely gone places since his stint on “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” winning Male Artist of the Year at the MOR Pinoy Awards in 2019, as well as winning Song of the Year for “Ikaw at Ikaw Pa Rin” at this year’s Wish 107.5 Music Awards.

He has also staged two successful concerts—“I Am Sam” in September 2018 and the “Song Feels” concert with Jeremy G, JMKO, and Miguel Odron last January, both held at the Music Museum.

Mend your broken heart by listening to Sam’s new single “Hindi Na Nga” on various digital streaming platforms. For more details, like Star Music on Facebook at www.facebook.com/starmusicph, and follow it on Twitter and Instagram @StarMusicPH.
