Singer Bryan Termulo tweeted after ABS-CBN was shut down by the National Telecommunications Commission.
“Franchise lang po ang nag expire sa ABS to broadcast sa local TV, pwes edi sa social media sila eere for now. Boom. Million views sa lahat ng program nila. O diba? Pag nagsara ang pinto magbukas ang mas higit na opportunity. Sana wag na mag rant or pumatol ibang celebs.”

There were other tweets that had a similar tone as well.

Termulo also mentioned that he follows all the social media accounts of ABS-CBN so that he doesn’t feel the loss of his only source of news.
To this, John replied, “Hay buti ka pa hindi mo ramdam. Paano kaming 11K plus na nawalan ng work?”
