If there’s one shoe that’s iconic and stylish, it’s the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star.
The original favorite has been around for years and is popular among Filipinos of all ages. This timeless shoe comes in high and low tops and is praised because of its simplicity and clean look.
One good thing about the Chuck Taylor is you can wear it with anything. Whether you dress up or down, you’ll find that it’s the perfect shoe for any occasion. Even when it’s old and worn, the Chuck Taylor still looks great.
Celebrities and rock stars love their Chuck Taylors and wear them with pride. Among them are Kean Cipriano, the vocalist of the OPM rock band Calalily and brand ambassador for Converse Philippines, international model-host Georgina Wilson, lifestyle blogger David Guison, and Asia’s Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose, who represented the Philippines at the Asia Pacific launch of the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II held in Shanghai, China last July 27, 2015.
What makes the new Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II different from its predecessor, the Chuck Taylor All Star silhouette model, is its use of Nike Lunarlon technology for superior full foot cushioning and arch support, a foam padded collar, a non-slip gusseted tongue for 360-degree comfort, and a perforated micro suede liner for breath-ability during extended wear.
Of course, the new shoes won’t be called “Chucks” without their signature look. Converse made sure the premium details are intact, such as the fully embroidered All Star patch, on-trend high foxing, and the monochrome matte eyelets.
