Twitter user @IamCharotism, formerly known as @IamRealGabisonEthyl the parody account of Ethel Booba, has been engaged in a word war with the comedienne ever since the latter revealed to the public that it was a fake Twitter account after she used it for eight years to boost her popularity.
Ethel said: “Itago nalang natin siya sa pangalang Fake Cuneta.”
THE Charotism Twitter account published a screenshot of when Senator Grace Poe sent a formal invitation letter for Ethel last March 13, 2018 to participate in a public hearing about fake news.

Afterward, Ethel’s current partner, Jessie Salazar, asked Charotism if he ever received a gift from any politician. On the contrary, Charotism admin confessed that Ethel had asked him to make an excuse to Senator Poe so she could skip out on the public hearing. He added that accepting gifts from politicians is not allowed.

Meanwhile, a netizen tried to join the word war and asked Charotism which of them received a gift from the politician, here’s what Charotism stated:

The word war between Ethel and Charotism doesn’t stop there. Ethel’s real Twitter account accused Charotism of being insensitive.

As a response, Charotism urged Admin Jessie to coordinate with Ethel’s siblings, as they are the ones who gave permission to continue using Ethel’s name for fame as well as to increase the talent fee of the veteran comedian.

There was a time when Ethel was about to have a guest appearance on ABS-CBN’s Gandang Gabi Vice, and the admin of former Ethel’s parody Twitter account was tasked to answer some of the questions. Ethel changed the script though to mention Mocha Uson.

It can be recalled that Ethel once ranted about ABS-CBN shows with who had not paid her her talent feels. For clarification, Charotism revealed that it was Virnard, one of the siblings of Ethel , who asked him to do so.

Furthermore, Charotism recalled that the Twitter account used to have a “parody” term in the bio not until Ethel claimed it on It’s Showtime as hers. Since then, Charotism kept open communication with Virnard and Ethel.
