Jimuel Pacquiao is now part of Star Magic as he finally decided to enter showbusiness.
As of the moment, the 19-year old aspirant is a trainee of ABS-CBN’s talent management arm.
In an interview, Jimuel shared that his parents, Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao, are very supportive of him becoming an artist, rather than conquering the boxing ring, like his father.
He said, “Supportive naman po sila, kase mas gusto daw nila ito. Kesa sa boxing.
“Sabi nila na sa akin daw yung choice. Pero pag sila daw ang tatanungin, ayaw talaga nila,” he added.
Almost a year after his breakup with Kapamilya star Heaven Peralejo, Jimuel admitted that he has finally moved on. He also revealed that they’re professional enough to handle their situation.
Heaven and Jimuel confirmed their romance last March 2019. However, four months after their announcement, rumors that the two lovebirds had broken up surfaced online. The speculations were confirmed when Heaven finally spoke up, as did Jimuel. However, both parties denied a “credit card issue” was the reason behind their split.
Of the possibility of getting back together with Heaven again, he said: “Well, we don’t know pero sa ngayon I think we’re both happy naman po.”
The young artist is already being linked to Tanduay’s Calendar Girl, Barbie Imperial.
When asked about his current status with the sexy star, this is what he has to say: “Di ko po siya girlfriend. Very close friend lang po.”
This was also the same statement that he has said during his guesting on Tonight With Boy Abunda last February 11.
According to the eldest son of Pacquiao, he has no plans of courting the sexy star as he only sees her as a friend.
He also admitted that they actually met several times but only had the chance to have a conversation during a Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) event.
“Ah, well nakausap ko lang po siya kase parang dun sa MPBL po nag muse siya. Parang kinuha siya ng ganun. So dun po kame nag meet.”
As of the moment, Jimuel wants to focus on himself and his craft especially that he’s juggling his academics with his showbiz career.
“Well, right now I’m not looking for one. So, focus muna ako on myself. And sa mga kailangan kong gawin.”
Emmanuel Pacquiao, Jr., more popularly known as Jimuel Pacquiao is the eldest among the five children of Boxing Champ Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao. He’s an amateur boxer and a model.
Barbie Imperial, just like Heaven Peralejo, is a product of Pinoy Big Brother. She rose to fame when she portrayed as Michelle Verano in Precious Hearts Romances: Araw Gabi in 2018 alongside her leading man, JM De Guzman whom she was romantically linked to.
Aside from JM, Barbie was involved in a relationship with Hashtags member Ryle Santiago and actor Paul Salas.
The 21-year old star is Tanduay’s 2020 calendar girl.
