Aside from acting, Asia’s Multimedia star Alden Richards is now working on his hosting skills.
On Thursday, January 9, Alden shared that he is excited to host Centerstage, the newest singing talent competition for kids aged 12 and under.
Alden explained, “Excited ako kasi mahilig ako sa bata first and foremost. And the last hosting show that I did for GMA was ‘Bet ng Bayan‘ pa. Batang-bata pa ‘ko no’n. That was five or six years ago.”
The actor said that he considers this as a major hosting stint given by GMA Network.
“Aside from ‘Eat Bulaga!,’ parang ito ‘yung isa sa mga magiging major hosting projects ko for 2020. So happy. Masaya, masaya,” he said.
Alden believes that Centerstage is a good platform to showcase and hone the talents of the young.
“Doon sa mga bata, siyempre, ginawa natin itong show para sa kanila and ang talagang main objective natin dito is for them to gain experience and enjoy at the same time,” he said.
“Mas maganda talaga na nae-expose ‘yung mga bata, especially talented kids, sa mga ganitong klaseng platforms para ma-showcase ‘yung talent, para ma-amplify ‘yung talent nila, at na ma-hone nila at an early age.
