On Instagram, Aiko Melendez thanked veteran actress-turned TV director Gina Alajar for including her in the GMA afternoon TV series Prima Donnas.
Aiko stated that there are times she is simply stunned as she takes all the lessons from Gina, and being in the entertainment industry, she’s still learning.
Aiko posted: “The woman behind why most of us are effective in what we do, direk Gina Alajar. Thank you as I always tell you po nakatunganga ako minsan po pag blocking tayo because I take all what you tell me. Learning so much still.”
Meanwhile, in the same post, Aiko also praised veteran actress Chanda Romero for the latter’s wit and for making their work to feel light at all times.
She continued: “Ms. Chanda Romero you are hilarious and you amaze me in so many ways! Working is a breeze with you.”

Aiko portrays the role of antagonist Kendra in Prima Donnas, similar to the villainess role she had in Wildflower as Emilia Ardiente-Torillo.
Prima Donnas continues to win over its rival show ABS-CBN’s Kadenang Ginto for weeks now, it also became trending on Twitter during episode #102 with the official hashtag #PDOfficialResults.
