- Kisses Delavin cleared up rumors of her transfer to GMA Network
- She described herself as a freelancer
- D’ Ninang will be her first movie with Ai-Ai Delas Alas
At a press conference held for the film D Ninang, Kisses Delavin clarified rumors about her transfer to GMA Network. These rumors came out after she left Star Magic, the management subsidiary of ABS-CBN, to sign a contract with Triple A management.
Kisses told the press, “Yung nilipatan ko po muna ay management po muna. Hindi pa po muna ako naglipat ng network. So sa ngayon po ay freelance po ako.”
Kisses then expressed her thanks to Ai-Ai Delas Alas, her D’ Ninang co-actor, for helping her out in the past.
“Tsaka sa suporta po ni Ms. Ai sobrang grateful po ako specially po sa ginawa niya po last year, nung meron pong mga issue.
She added, “At tsaka ti-nour niya po ako sa GMA-7 studio ang saya po ng tour.”
When asked if she has plans of going back to ABS-CBN, Kisses replied with “Opo, for sure. Kung sakaling.. sa ngayon po kasi hindi ko pa din sigurado kung ano po magiging desisyon ng management ko at ng pamilya ko pero makakaasa po yung ABS-CBN na wala pong magbabago sa pagtingin ko sa kanila. mahal ko pa rin sila.”
Last December 18, Kisses created buzz online after she made her first appearance on the long-time-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga” as a “judge” for the “Bawal Judgmental ” segment.
Her upcoming movie, D’Ninang which will be released this January 22, is her first project with former Kapamilya actress Ai-Ai.
The movie is produced by Regal Entertainment Inc. and directed by GB Sampedro. ‘D’Ninang’ follows the story of a criminal matriarch with a gang of thieves and her estranged daughter’s love-hate relationship.
Joining them in the movie are actors McCoy de Leon, Kelvin Miranda, Angel Guardian, Kiray Celis, Lou Veloso, and Joey Marquez.
