During the grand media launch for D’ Ninang movie, Kiray Celis was asked about her opinion on ABS-CBN’s pending franchise renewal.
According to the former Goin’ Bulilit cast member, she’s aware of the current issue but it doesn’t matter to her anymore since she signed a 10-year contract with GMA Network.
Kiray stated, “Naririnig ko, pero hindi na ako ang tao na magsalita pa dun since wala naman na ako sa kanila. Hindi na po nagma-matter sa akin. Siguro problema na po nila yun, I think.”
Aside from other celebrities pleading with President Rodrigo Duterte to reconsider the franchise renewal of the Kapamilya network, Kiray’s concern is just focused on the people working behind the camera.
She continued, “Pero sana masolusyonan kasi may nagtatrabaho sa kanila. Nakakalungkot kapag mawala yun siyempre.”
