At the press conference for Starla, Judy Ann Santos responded to the question if she was willing to work with former on-screen partner Piolo Pascual for future projects.
As per the Starla leading female star, with the right material, perfect timing, and right director, it would be possible.
“It’s not impossible, it’s not impossible. Pero gaya nga ng sinabi ko, patagal ng patagal nagiging kritikal yung storya, kritikal yung latag ng magiging materyal. Kasi everybody is looking forward to Piolo and Juday project. With a perfect project, right director and a perfect timing, bakit naman hindi?”
Judy Ann has worked several times with Piolo on projects like Don’t Give Up on Us in 2006, Till There Was You in 2003, Bakit ‘Di Totohanin with Epy Quizon and Gloria Romero in 2001 and the heavy-drama and romance movie Kahit Isang Saglit with Leandro Muñoz.
Starla continues to shine on its last week
Judy Ann’s Starla is now down to its final week but remains on top when it comes to TV ratings against its rival program The Gift of Alden Richards. Based on KANTAR Media results last December 4, 2019, Starla earned 23.5% which increased to 24.9% on December 19, 2019.
