Star Cinema and Viva Films’ co-prod movie “The Breakup Playlist” earned more than ₱15 million on its opening day on Wednesday (July 1), as revealed by Star Cinema’s official Instagram account.
Directed by Dan Villegas, the latest movie featuring today’s hottest stars, Piolo Pascual and Sarah Geronimo dominated the box office in the Philippines during its first day of showing in more than 200 theaters nationwide. This is the first time fans will see Sarah and Piolo in a movie project.

In “The Breakup Playlist,” Sarah is Trixie, a talented law student who meets Gino (Piolo), who asks her to join his band. They soon fall in love, but their relationship faces numerous challenges as they struggle to navigate life, love, and careers.
