After Vice Ganda got offended by critics belittling the comedy genre especially as a Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Pokwang also expressed her dismay about how she and her fellow comedians are treated.
Despite the inconveniences as a comedian, Pokwang remains positive that this is part of the reality they have to encounter. For her, it’s more important to make people happy instead of focusing on the difficulties, as it would reflect on their aura.

The audiences are getting younger so Pokwang believes that comedians have to keep up and familiarize themselves with what millennials really want to watch nowadays.
“Kailangan talaga sumabay.
