- Arnel Pineda received an invitation to be part of “The Voice of the Philippines” coaches panel
- He said he is very willing to take on the opportunity

Rock band singer Arnel Pineda was once invited to be part of The Voice of the Philippines panel along with coaches Lea Salonga, Bamboo, and Sarah Geronimo and he said that he is willing to take on the job.
“I’m very, very willing to do that,” Arnel answered.
“Galit na nga ata sa akin ang mga taga-‘The Voice Phippines.’ Actually na-invite na ako before pero hindi ko lang magampanan talaga. Gustong gusto ko talaga,”he added.
Having gone through a lot in his career, Arnel said he wanted to impart his knowledge to the younger generation.
“I have so much to share, kasi ‘yung pinanggalingan ko tubong lugaw (rin) talaga. Kasi ‘yung mga sumasali sa singing search, they are trying their best na kahit mahirap lang sila katulad ko, talagang ang lalakas ng loob nila,” he explained.
As The Voice Teens is set to start soon, Arnel said he is not setting aside the possibility of being part of the show.
“I don’t know kung hinihintay pa nila ako or baka nagsawa na sila or they don’t want me anymore.
“Kasi talagang depende sa time eh. Like next year, mag-start na kami mag-tour starting May to September.”
The singer shared that he has already imagined himself acting as a coach to the contestants as he watches the show.
“I’d love to do it, kaya ‘pag napapanood ko, nakiki-mentor ako in my thoughts na ‘ahhh okay’ ganito dapat ganyan,” he said.
Arnel is now doing preparations for his upcoming Valentine’s Day concert Let It Love, Let It Rock with Yeng Constantino in 2020.
After a troubled childhood, Arnel found success in Asia as the frontman for the group The Zoo.He became internationally popular in 2007 as the new lead singer of the American rock band Journey.
