When actor Billy Crawford, happily married to actress Coleen Garcia, asked Luis when he plans on tying the knot with longtime girlfriend, Jessy Mendiola. The actor replied, “Sana soon. Sana talaga.”
Last Thursday, on ABS-CBN’s Magandang Buhay, Manzano revealed that despite wanting to get married to Jessy, he doesn’t want to rush things.
“Kasi ito talaga, nakita ko rin naman kung gaano talaga ka-happy si Billy Boy at siyempre kahit paano, nakakainggit ‘yung nakikita mo, ‘yung may formality na ang kanilang pagmamahalan.”
Despite being envious of his happily married friends, he doesn’t want to be tied down because of pressure.
“Pero at the same time ayaw kong madaliin, ayaw kong pilitin. Kasi marami tayong kilala na ikinasal and it didn’t work out at kapag tinanong mo, ang sagot nila, ‘hindi pa pala ‘yon ang tamang time.’ Ipinilit lang, dahil na-pressure sila sa pamilya, sa society.”
BIlly also advised his friend that getting married shouldn’t be rushed. But Billy believes that Luis is close to settling down.
“Tama si Lulu Boy, hindi puwedeng pilitin ang hindi pa tama sa oras, alam mo ‘yon? Ito si Lulu Boy, masipag, mapagmahal at sobrang nag-iipon ‘yan para sa kinabakusan niya at ng pamilya niya. Ako, sobrang happy rin ako kay Lulu Boy kasi alam ko malapit na ‘yan, sobrang malapit na ‘yan,”
It was the year 2016 when Luis and Jessy’s relationship became a hot topic because of the rumors that Jessy was the third party in Luis’s failed relationship with Angel Locsin.
