Comedienne Ai Ai delas Alas is worried about the airing of ABS-CBN’s new TV series, ‘Pangako Sa ‘Yo’ which is of the same timeslot with GMA-7’s ‘Let the Love Begin’.
In a recent interview prior her leaving for the 10th year anniversary of GMA Pinoy TV in the United States and Canada, she’s concerned over her fellow co-stars Ruru Madrid and Gabbi Garcia that would suffer in the all-time hit telenovela that once aired in 2000 till 2002.
So, may slight worry ako for them.
“Kasi naman, KathNiel ang kabangga nila. Eh ‘yung dalawa, bagung-bago pa ang team up,” says delas Alas.
If she was asked to control the program flow in the Kapuso Network, what will be her plans to gain audience share?
“Mag-switch ang timeslot ng ‘The Rich Man’s Daughter’ at ‘Let the Love Begin’.
So, alam mo neng kung ano ang kasunod,” she adds.
Aside from the concert in Vancouver, Canada, Ai Ai will help her kids’, Sean Nicolo and Sofia transfer to their four-bedroom vacation house in the US.
Sa ngayon kasi, they live with their biological dad, si Miguel Vera. Eh kaso, he is also married na rin. Mas mainam din na may sarili ¬silang balay.”
Ai Ai doesn’t have any plans to retire in the States, despite her being a US resident.
She explains, “Resident na kasi ang status ko sa US. Pero hindi pa ako citizen, eh. After 5 years akong nakatira doon, saka pa lang ako pwedeng mag-apply na maging citizen. As a resident, I am required to be there from time to time.
