Kapuso actor Jak Roberto didn’t hide his admiration for his idol Coco Martin and said he’s willing to take the path that Coco took then.
In an interview with Janna Chu Chu Fontanilla on YouTube, Roberto was asked if he had a dream role that he wants to pursue.
Roberto didn’t think twice in saying that he idolizes Primetime King Coco Martin and that he wants to follow in the latter’s footsteps.
He said Coco was one of his influences in getting into showbiz.
The Kapuso actor intimated that he used to watch Coco’s indie films and that inspired him to be an actor and to do the same kind of movies.
Meanwhile, asked if he is willing to follow Coco’s journey in showbiz including baring his body on screen, Jak had this to say.

Before earning the title Primetime King, Coco Martin started as an indie actor who didn’t mind baring his body. He rose to prominence via critically acclaimed indie films Serbis and Kinatay which both premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
After his stint in indie films, Coco successfully transitioned to mainstream film and television. His current action drama teleserye FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano has been running for more than three years now thus earning him the title of the country’s Primetime King.
Jak, on the other hand, started his career as one of the co-hosts in GMA Network’s Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman in 2011. After that, he was cast in different Kapuso shows, but his name became more popular when he was paired with his real-life partner Barbie Fortesa in Meant To Be.
