- Vice Ganda had fiery words for Sen. Tito Sotto about real women
- Vice Ganda blasted Tito Sotto’s transgender discrimination
On September 4, Senate President Tito Sotto did not mince words on his thoughts regarding the SOGIE bill, where he argued that a man will never be a woman.
“If you are a man, you will never be a woman, no matter what you do, because you cannot produce,” Sotto said in an interview. “You cannot give birth, you do not have ovaries. You will never be a woman. So, this, to me, the SOGIE bill is a bill against women’s rights.”
These statements made Vice Ganda air out his frustrations about Sotto’s remarks. “Joke po ba ito Hon. Senate President Tito Sotto ???
At MAY HALAGA sila may matris man o wala, magbuntis man o hindi, may anak man o wala dahil sila ay ay TAO at sila ay BABAE,” the Unkabogable Comedian added.
SENATE PRESIDENT Sotto. Pero I believe this statement is just not fair. There are people who pretend to be FEMINISTS to hide their being MISOGYNISTS,” he said.
Vice and Sotto’s statements received mixed reactions from the netizens. While Vice decided to turn off the comments section of his controversial Instagram post, Sotto, on the other hand, shared a statement that could be his comment on Vice’s tirade against him.
Is this Tito Sotto’s reaction to Vice Ganda’s comment on SOGIE Bill issue?
On Instagram, Sotto said, “When people resort to personal attacks, it means they have lost the debate!”
