Kapuso hunk Derrick Monasterio revealed that he has had no “sex life” at the media conference of his upcoming TV series titled Beautiful Justice.
In the interview, the actor did not hesitate to answer questions especially about his past relationships, and the current status of his heart, and not to mention sex life.
When asked about the beauty queen he dated recently, the actor said, “Break na kame nun.”
It was in February when Monasterio admitted that he was dating Filipino-British beauty queen Kathleen Paton.
Paton was crowned Miss Manila 2018 and Miss Teen International 2017.
However, their relationship didn’t last due to reasons that the 24-year old actor chose not to disclose.
Meanwhile, Monasterio is currently seeing a model.
When asked why he seems fond of dating beauty queens, the Kapuso actor stated, “Di naman, kasi ang gusto ko lang sa beauty queen is meron silang values. Kasi meron silang goals, may pinaglalaban. Values na like kung ano nila. Kung ano yung advocacy.”
As the interview went on, the Beautiful Justice star was also asked if his ideal woman is a beauty queen, to which he answered with: “Hinde, basta ang gusto ko lang may takot sa Diyos. Tsaka may takot sa PDEA.”
The actor revealed that his current love interest is sometimes featured on his Instagram wall.
“Kasi minsan, I post about her. Minsan lang, di naman about her. Like with her, or with friends tapos kasama siya,” he remarked.
In the interview, Monasterio admitted that they are actually dating but honestly clarified that nothing has happened yet.
“Wala pang nagaganap. Kasi yung nagaganap mo alam ko yun eh, so wala pa nagaganap.”
When asked if he already kissed her, he humbly said, “Ay wala pa, holding hands lang.”
“Siyempre respect din yun sa kanya,” he added.
Moving forward, he went on: “Pero masaya ako ngayon, masaya yung art. Masaya yung carreer, masaya yung bank account, nakakaipon. Masaya yung family. In fairness masaya ako ngayon. Lahat ng buhay ko ngayon is nasa ayos.”
This declaration prompted another question about his ‘sex life.’
“Wala nga eh, pero hindi ako naghahanap kase. Yun yung maganda sakin, kahit one year wala, okay lang. Promise, promise po, di ako naghahanap.
“Oo, 1 year nganga. Okay lang di naman yun importante eh. Ang importante ngayon yung work.”
According to the actor, since he’s more focused on his career, he’s not rushing things between him and the model he’s currently dating. When asked about going intimate, he mused: “It will happen actually.
“Kasi importante sakin ang values. Kung ayaw, edi okay. Basta mahal mo.”
Meanwhile, the Kapuso star is currently gearing up for his upcoming action-drama TV series Beautiful Justice where he will pair up with Gabbi Garcia. He will also work with his former love team partner, Bea Binene, who like Gabbi and Yasmien Kurdi, top-bills the forthcoming drama.
Beautiful Justice tells the story of three brave and courageous women who will form an alliance to seek revenge for their dead loved ones. The production team and GMA Network partnered with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) to make the series more appealing and realistic.
Beautiful Justice will replace Sahaya which is down to its last two weeks and will be pitted against FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
