- Camino Band’s New Single Launch
- Featuring ‘Honest’ from the eight song Elektra Records debut EP, tryhard
JULY 26, 2019 – Nashville-based group, The Band CAMINO, have shared their brand-new single “Honest,” which is streaming today at all DSPs along with an official visualizer on the band’s YouTube channel.
“Honest” will be featured on The Band CAMINO’s eight song Elektra Records debut EP, tryhard, which is set to arrive on August 23rd.
The Band CAMINO elaborated on the forthcoming EP explaining, “Somewhere along the way people have called us ‘try-hards’ thinking we took ourselves too seriously or were trying to be something we weren’t.
Of course, we are try-hards.
The entire reason we’re here is to create something bigger than ourselves.
A lot of times people use ‘try-hard’ in a derogatory sense, but we’d rather own the fact that we’ve given every ounce of ourselves to making this music.”
“Honest” follows The Band CAMINO’s two-song single of “Daphne Blue” and “See Through,” which was released this past spring alongside the news of the band’s signing to Elektra Records.
The two-song single is streaming now at all DSPs with “Daphne Blue” accompanied by a Patrick Tracy directed music video. Dubbed “Rock’s next big thing” by Billboard, The Band CAMINO are set to embark on a North American headline tour this September.
The coast-to-coast run, which features support from special guests Valley, will kick off September 4th at Birmingham’s Iron City, and includes stops at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works (9/5), New York’s Webster Hall (9/12), and Los Angeles’ El Rey Theatre (10/7 & 10/8).
The Band CAMINO’s cross country trek also includes festival appearances at Chattanooga’s Moon River Festival (9/8), and Austin’s Austin City Limits Festival (10/11) [Admat / Full Itinerary Below].
Before their fall tour, The Band CAMINO will roll into Chicago for a special Lollapalooza set scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd. For tickets and more information, visit www.thebandcamino.com.
The Band CAMINO write lovelorn songs about perseverance and personal growth. Comprised of members Jeffery Jordan, Graham Rowell, Spencer Stewart, and Garrison Burgess, The Band CAMINO have released two EP’s (2017’s Heaven and 2016’s My Thoughts On You), and an array of anthemic and gleaming singles that have collectively amassed over 70 Million streams in the U.S. alone.
With their Elektra Records debut album on the horizon, The Band CAMINO’s mutual trust and eclectic songwriting attests to the worth of putting an honest effort in.
