GMA Network is really moving forward to cater to their viewers with shows that one would want to watch.
GMA network announced its partnership with international content distributor Jungo TV.
Jungo TV is an international channel provider of premium content, which features films, TV dramas, variety shows, lifestyle and musical programming. Channels such as Combat Go, a 24-hour streaming network dedicated to combat sports, and Hallypop, a new Asian pop culture streaming channel, launched in Q1 2019, are part of the Jungo line-up.
The partnership made between the two networks will make GMA Network the first media organization in the Philippines to distribute channels from Jungo TV, specifically its concert network Front Row and Asian Pop network Hallypop.
Present at the contract signing were GMA Network Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon, President and COO Gilberto Duavit, Jr., Executive Vice President and CFO Felipe Yalong, and Vice President for Sales Riza Garduque.
Also with Jungo executives, Jungo TV CEO George Chung, COO Trang Nguyen, and Vice President for Distribution Reena Garingan.
CEO of JungoTV Georg Chung was happy about the partnership with GMA Network.
“We’re very excited about this relationship because we put together some curated channels that are going to be absolutely phenomenal for the Philippine market, which include our music channels and our K-Pop, Asian Pop culture network,” Chung said.
GMA Network Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon is also grateful to Jungo TV.
“We are grateful to Jungo TV and Mr. Chung for entrusting us with their channel and content to be the first here in the Philippines to distribute their content. That’s a lot of trust.”
