Singer-actress and known Duterte critic Agot Isidro once again criticized President Rodrigo Duterte after the latter’s lame statement about the Reed Bank incident.
On Twitter, Agot posted a news link about Duterte’s statement on the ramming of Pinoy fishing boat by a Chinese vessel.
In her tweet, she reminded Netizens on President Duterte’s statement regarding the old jeepney phase out.
“Someone once said: ‘Mahirap kayo? P@$:”# ^~A Magtiis kayo sa hirap at gutom, wala akong pakialam.’ Parang ganito din yon,” she tweeted.

President Duterte was in hot water after more than a week of silence since the ramming incident at the Reed Bank in West Philippine Sea happened.
The lives of 22 Filipino fishermen were put in danger after a Chinese vessel rammed on the Pinoy anchored boat.
While the fishermen claimed that they were sure it was Chinese vessel, which intentionally rammed on then, Malacanang and the President kept mum until Monday, June 17.
In his statement before the Philippine Navy anniversary, President Duterte dismissed the incident as a mere maritime incident which should not cause some noise.
“‘Yang nangyari diyan sa banggaan, that is a maritime incident. ‘Wag kayong maniwala sa mga pulitiko na bobo, gusto papuntahin ‘yung Navy. You do not send gray ships there, banggaan lang ng barko ‘yan,” Duterte said in a speech at the 121st anniversary celebration of the Philippine Navy,” Duterte said.
This was not the first time that the President issued a non-emphatic statement toward fellow Filipinos.
In October 2017, Duterte also issued a strong un-emphatic statement regarding jeepney drivers that will be affected by the jeepney phaseout due to modernization program.
“Sa January 1, kapag hindi niyo na-modernize yan, umalis kayo. Mahirap kayo? P****g i*a, umalis kayo. Magtiis kayo sa hirap at gutom, wala akong pakialam,” he said
Meanwhile, Netizens who replied to Agot’s tweet shared their disgust and disappointments. Many people were frustrated by the President’s response saying we seemed to become China’s slaves.
