The unconditional love of a mother and wife will take places if it has to, for the sake of her family. GMA Network offers a new afternoon series where a mother and wife’s sacrifice are tested.
The new afternoon series of GMA Network, replacing ‘Inagaw Na Bituin,’ ‘Dahil Sa Pag-ibig,’ will share a story of a wife’s sacrifices for her husband and family.
The pilot episode of ‘Dahil Sa Pag-ibig’ aired on May 20, 2019 starred by Benjamin Alves as Eldon, Winwyn Marquez as Portia, Pancho Magno as Gary, and Sanya Lopez as Mariel, was directed by Ricky Davao.
‘Dahil Sa Pag-ibig’ had reached second spot on Twitter because of its pilot episode. A lot of netizens had watched and talked about the gripping story that it gives, to the point of reaching 2nd spot on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the newest Kapuso series only got 10.5% rating versus its rival show ‘Los Bastardos’ with 16.2% according to Kantar Media. Meanwhile, NUTAM data shows ‘Los Bastardos’ with 6.1% winning over the pilot episode of ‘Dahil sa Pag-ibig’ with only 5.2%.
One of the stars, Sanya Lopez, had already shared before her doubtful feelings and pressure on making love scenes in the series.
“Hindi naman siguro mawawala ‘yung kaba, pero every time na mayroon akong love scene, nandoon naman ‘yung guys na sumusuporta sa’yo.”
When asked about how ready she is on this teleserye,
“Lately, kailangan ko ng bawasan ‘yung pagkain ko kasi wala nang time para mag-workout. Pero emotionally, physically, ready naman ako.”
GMA Network’s ‘Dahil Sa Pag-ibig’ airs every Mondays to Fridays after ‘Bihag.’
