RJ Padilla is still proud of his father, Rommel Padilla despite the loss in the congressional post for Nueva Ecija. In the recently concluded midterm elections, the senior Padilla was defeated by his opponent Ging Suansing by more than 51,400 votes.
This made RJ emotional, however the young male star is still proud of his father’s sacrifices for the people of Nueva Ecija.
On Instagram, he posted a photo of his father and captioned it with, “Nakakalungkot at masakit tanggapin ang pagkatalo ng aking ama.. pero ako’y natutuwa at ipinagmamalaki ko pa rin ang aking ama @omengq dahil sa sakripisyo niyang ibinigay para sa taong bayan ng Nueva Ecija.
“Mabuhay po kayo, Pa! Isa po kayong insipration sa aming kabataan!”
RJ also wrote that maybe God has better plans for his father and how he missed him since he and his family migrated to Australia in 2017.
He ended his caption with, “Naniniwala rin po ako na merong mas mahigit pa ang plano ang Panginoon Diyos po sa inyo!! Labyu, Pa!!! And of course I miss you.”

Not to mention Daniel Padilla, the step-brother of RJ and son of Rommel to Karla Estrada, have showed his support to his father during the campaign period. With his on-screen and off-screen partner Kathryn Bernardo, they raked the land of Nueva Ecija. Despite the sweats, scratches, and tiredness felt, Daniel didn’t stop to show his support for his father.
