“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” (38.5%) is still on the top spot of most-watched programs nationwide, followed by the reality competition series “World of Dance Philippines” (32.6%) that ended its run on Philippine TV strongly.
The Angel Locsin-led primetime series “The General’s Daughter” (31.3%) snagged the third spot with its action-packed episodes every night, while “Search for the Idol Philippines” (29.5%) made a huge splash with its debut, soaring instantly at number four.
“TV Patrol” (28.3%) remained as the choice newscast of Filipinos, rounding out the top five. Meanwhile, “Kadenang Ginto” (25.3%) shot to number seven, continuing to be the most-watched afternoon show nationwide that also consistently trends online.
The other programs that make up the list are “Halik” (25%), which also recently held its finale, “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (24.5%), and Dreamscape’s newest weekend program, “Hiwaga ng Kambat” (23.5%).
With the consistent strong performance of “Kadenang Ginto” every afternoon, ABS-CBN’s afternoon block (3PM-6PM) average audience share shot up to 51%, or 22 points higher than GMA’s 29%.
This is the first time this year that ABS-CBN’s afternoon average audience share breached 50%.
