- Dingdong Dantes will be The Big Boss in the Filipino remake of the popular Koreanovela ‘Descendants of the Sun’
- Dingdong is hopeful to work again with his wife, Marian Rivera
- The actor is set to host the new season of the upcoming reality artista search, ‘Starstruck 7′
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes remains a Kapuso after signing a new contract with GMA Network last Monday (April 22). He happily shared that most of the highlights of his career, both on-screen and off-screen, happened within GMA Network.
His latest milestone in life is the birth of his second child named Jose Sixto Dantes IV.
The actor said, “Dito ko na po nakilala ang napangasawa ko, dito na ako nagkaroon ng anak, at ngayon, ng pangalawa kong anak.”
Dingdong has been with the network for 21 years. When asked what it is to him that he renewed his contract with the GMA Network, he happily stated, “Para sa akin, since Easter ngayon, parang rebirth ito of my commitments to GMA sa pagtitiwalang ibinigay nila sa akin.
During the contract signing, it was announced that the actor will play as the “Big Boss” in the Philippine adaptation of the popular Korean Drama “Descendants of the Sun.” Dingdong is greatly honored with the trust that the network is pouring onto him and promises not let them down.
Many wished that his wife and Primetime Queen, Marian Rivera, will be his leading lady in the said remake. But knowing that she just gave birth to their second baby, her comeback on television will take some time.
“Malabong mangyari.
But just like the #DongYan fans, Dindong is hopeful that he will have the chance to work with his wife again.
Aside from the DOTS remake, the award-winning actor is set to host the upcoming new season of the reality artista search, “Starstruck 7.”
