Since its premiere telecast last April 8, ‘The Crown Princess,’ in its first week, swept off its rival show Pinoy Big Brother Otso in NUTAM (Nationwide Urban Television Audience Measurement) ratings.
According to NUTAM, The Crown Princess won its average week rating from April 8 to April 11.
The Crown Princess is the new series of GMA’s Heart of Asia that replaced My Golden Life.
Starring Thailand’s phenomenal love team and real-life couple Urassaya Sperbund and Nadech Kugimiya, The Crown Princess is a Thai series that premiered on May 14, 2018. Its first international broadcast is in the Philippines dubbed in Filipino.
In its pilot week, The Crown Princess garnered an average week rating of 42.4% that is higher than its rival program Halik that recorded an average week rating of 29.2%.
This Thai series is all about a woman named Alice Madeleine Thereza Phillipe (Urassaya Sperbund), whose life, after being crowned as princess was put into danger. To be able to protect her, she was sent to Thailand where she met Dawin Samuthyakorn (Nadech Kugimiya), a Lieutenant Commander of the Thai Navy and Navy SEAL, who eventually became his bodyguard.
