One of the best dramatic actresses on local showbiz, Alessandra de Rossi, sarcastically criticized a post regarding the issue of having dark skin color.
Being one of those artists who promote self-love and simplicity, Alessandra did not let this pass as she thinks that this kind of mindset is disturbing and should be addressed.
In a Twitter post of the official site CNN Philippines, it posted a short statement that our President Rodrigo Duterte stated during his speech, when he was joining the campaign rally of Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) in Cauayan City, Isabela on March 13 (Wednesday).
The post captured Duterte lambasting the former US President Barack Obama as he criticized him and called him ‘black.’
It said, “Duterte slams former U.S. President Barack Obama for criticizing him: Leche ka! Itim itim mo, p***** *** ka! You’re a son of a b****, you go to hell.”

This post reached the actress, pushing her to comment on the statement of Duterte. In her post, she directly questioned what is wrong with having a dark skin color, and she jokingly added to order some iced tea with a mix of glutathione.
“Anong issue nyo sa maitim?!! Choz!!! #triggered  pa-order ng iced tea with gluta! Thanks!”

Alessandra, after posting it, gained a lot of agreeable response from her followers supporting her side. In today’s era, as people are more open and sensitive to ideas and opinions, discrimination to skin color is seen as an argumentative topic that is carefully addressed.
