Keempee de Leon, after 16 years, is ready for a comeback as he officially returns to the Kapamilya Network for the upcoming afternoon primetime series ‘Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit’ which will air on March 25.
This was confirmed when the show’s Instagram account posted a photo of Keempee signaling that he will star in the drama series, it captioned “Abangan si @kimpster888bilang BENJIE sa #NangNgumitiAngLangit. Malapit na sa ating ABS-CBN! #RSBDramaUnit”.
He also officially declared that he is coming back to the Kapamilya Network in an interview with PUSH, stating that ‘Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit’ will be his comeback series.

Keempee shared that, in his return, he would gladly want to work with all the Kapamilya artists, and clarified that he is not at all picky.
“Actually lahat e, lahat ng mga taga-ABS-CBN, gusto kong maka-trabaho. Pero siyempre ako naman, hindi namimili so kung anong ibigay sa akin, thankful ako.”
It can be remembered that Keempee’s last regular television appearance in the Kapamilya Network was in the 2002 comedy gag show ‘Klasmeyts,’ which he hosted together with Herbert Bautista, Bayani Agbayani, Paolo Contis, and Michael Flores.
His last regular television series with GMA Network was the 2017 primetime series ‘Meant To Be’ and his last guest appearance was in the romantic-comedy drama series ‘Inday Will Always Love You.’
Finally, he will again showcase his natural talent in the family drama series ‘Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit’ which will soon replace ‘Playhouse.’ The afternoon primetime drama is directed by FM Reyes and Ayette de Guzman and will be starred in by child actress Sophia Reola.
