Last February 26, Derrick Monasterio, together with Bea Binene and Kristoffer Martin, who all have a special participation on the upcoming GMA Network fantasy series, ‘Dragon Lady,’ attended the press conference of the said show. On his Instagram account, most of his photos were showing skin or a topless torso.
According to him, the photos that he posted were tastefully done and sometimes unintentionally sexy.
Talking to PEP.ph during the presscon, “Actually, minsan hindi ko sinasadya. Minsan sinasadya, pero hindi yun ang intention. Kasi yung sinasadya, meron talaga akong nakita na talagang pumu-pose talaga, gwapong-gwapo sa sarili, hinahawakan talaga yung katawan niya, parang…”
He doesn’t see anything wrong with showing his physique whether on social media, television, or film. In fact, it makes him feel better to receive comments from his fans and the netizens.

It’s more of art and inspiration, says Derrick:“Parang more on art pa rin ang sa ‘kin, more on inspiration.”
He also admitted that he receives malicious comments but he said that it doesn’t offend him.

On the part when people touched his body during the said fashion show, his reaction was: “Wala, okay lang.
