James Reid and Nadine Lustre, or the Team Real love team, is one of the promising love teams in showbiz today. After many films and shows together this past months, the couple is very focused on their individual projects but are still able to manage their time as real lovers.
Nadine will be seen next in the big screen with the new VIVA Film, ‘Ulan.’ She is paired with veteran actor Carlo Aquino on this project.
The Viva film production and the whole cast will be in a heavy competition against Hollywood films. This film will be in the cinemas on March 13. Even film director Irene Villamor is asking for help in promoting their film.
Direk Irene is very proud and humbled with this film for it has a unique and different story and it will be the first time to be seen cinemas here in the Philippines.
“This is new relatively sa Pilipinas. Bago yung pelikula. Bagong ihahain, dahil maraming Hollywood blockbuster movies na iyun ang makalaban. So, sana #supportlocals sana,” director said.
It concisely defines and explains what the connection of the “Tikbalang” is in the story of love, played by Nadine and Carlo. It was a Filipino belief of the Elders, that every time it rains with the sun shining, there is a wedding of two ‘tikbalangs.’ Tikbalang is a monster or ‘halimaw’ that has been retold through the fantasy stories of the old times, and the generation still believes on this belief ’til the present.
In this film, Nadine saw this creature and it was also a belief that a ‘tikbalang’s love is everlasting.
Do you think that James Reid’ love for Nadine is also everlasting?
During the press conference, the actress was able to say things about her relationship with James.
3 years and counting and still in love with each other. She also shared that they learned a lot in their relationship as lovers.
“Ang pinakamalaki talagang nagawa sa akin ng relationship is I learn to accept myself. Kasi before ang dami ko pong insecurities, ang dami kong problema, ang dami kong stress and all. Nung naging kami po kasi ni James, natutunan kong mag-relax, tapos mag-let go lang, tapos enjoy life,” Nadine shared.
Jealousy has never been their issue but only positiveness and happiness.
“Ang pinaka-important kasi na natutunan naming dalawa is just to relax and love life,” she added.
Nadine was happy in sharing these words of happiness and contentment.
“Parang kaming dalawa, parang walang bad vibes sa amin. Hindi rin kami parang nagbibigay ng bad vibes sa iba. Hindi kami nag-aaway ganun. Ngayon kasi pag may naramdaman ako, sini-share ko agad, sinasabi ko. Ngayon, pag may problema ako, sinasabi ko agad sa kanya. Sobrang love po namin yung state namin ngayon, ganito lang kami,” she ended.
