After the pilot week of struggle in TV ratings, GMA Public Affairs can finally rejoice after winning over its rival show on prime time. According to the NUTAM (National Urban Philippines TV, People Ratings) survey on February 11 (Monday), ‘TODA One I Love’ got a higher rating of 9.1% over its rival ‘Halik’ with only 7.9%.

From having a 7.0% rating on pilot episode (February 4), the family-friendly eleksyon-serye of GMA News and Public Affairs, ‘TODA One I Love, ‘ was able to gain 2.1% from the ratings game. Meanwhile, its rival show ‘Halik’ lose 4.9% of audience since last week, 12.0% to 7.9%.
On Kantar Media, viewers tuned into how Ace (Sam Milby) kept tabs on Lino’s (Jericho Rosales) every move during last Monday’s episode (Feb 11) of “Halik,” making it achieve a national TV rating of 19.8%, versus “Toda One I Love’s” 10.3%.
The political romantic comedy series ‘TODA One I Love’ served as the reunion project of the well-loved pair of Kylie Padilla and Ruru Madrid from the ‘Encantadia’ series. The show promised entertainment and at the same time was educational as this primetime offering is in time for the upcoming midterm elections. The series gives viewers a glimpse of Philippine local politics—all presented with a sprinkle of comedy and romance.
