Robin Padilla is proud and grateful to his wife Mariel Rodriguez for the all-out support she gives to his projects, and to his personal life, as well.
Padilla shared how much his wife assisted him despite the short notice for the last shooting day of Bato: The Gen. Ronald dela Rosa Story
“Nun’g last day, sabi ko, ‘babe, itong mga taong nagtrabaho rito, pinakapagod ito.’ Sa tagal ko nang nagtrabaho sa pelikula, ang akala ko nga, ‘yung 10,000 Hours na ‘yung pinakamatindi naming ginawa kasi, sa abroad namin ginawa ‘yun. Hindi pala, eto pala.
“Kaya gusto ko, sabi ko, “bigyan natin sila ng pagkain na marami, buong araw.” Kaya maraming salamat (kay Mariel), walang 24 hours (nang sabihin niya), nagawa niya lahat,” said Robin.
It was said that the production people feasted from lunch until dinner. Mariel truly did her best to deliver everything her husband has requested her, despite her busy schedule on “It’s Showtime” and her schedule on being a mom to their daughter.

On the question if they have plans on having a second child, as Maria Isabella just turned one last November, he said:
“Huwag muna, kasi doon na ako mauubusan ng oras. Eh siyempre, importante rin ang sex life,” he added.
