- Willie Revillame was thanking his Wowowin audience when he saw a man sleeping.
- He tried to wake him up but decided to prank him.
- He sat beside the said sleeping man, gave him a phone, Php3,000 and a jacket.
Willie Revillame was thanking his supporters and GMA Network for making The Will to Win possible. Winners in this new segment of Wowowin would get Php2-million. He, then, saw the sea of audience–a man who was clearly tired and had fallen asleep while seated.
He brought a camera man with him and encouraged every one not to make a noise.
Willie tried to wake him up.
Revillame yelled and did his best to wake the sleeping man.
“Pare! Okay ka lang ba diyan? Pahingi naman niyan!”
The audience cheered and laughed but the man remained asleep.
“Quiet, quiet, quiet lang ha! Pahinging jacket, pahinging cellphone. Quiet, ‘wag niyong gisingin. Susurpresahin ko lang siya.”
Revillame, then, got off the stage and sat beside the sleeping man.
“Alam niyo mga kababayan, siyempre napagod ang tao. Ganun talaga ang buhay. Nakakahiya naman, kanina pa tayo rito, noh? Tatlong araw na po tayong ‘di umaalis dito pero nandito pa rin siya.”
“Alam mo pare… Naiintindihan ko naman talaga… Please lang naman, nagpapahinga ang kaibigan natin.”
“Dahil diyan… Meron kang Cherry Mobile, meron kang jacket…”
Sleeping man finally woke up.
When he felt the jacket being thrown over him, the man instantly woke up and covered his face with it. Revillame yelled and cheered with the audience, glad that the man woke up.
“Hello! Hoy! Surprise!”
“Kasi ikaw, sa totoo lang isa kang Pilipinong masipag. Bibigyan kita ng tatlong libo!”
“Kamusta naman ang panaginip mong bwisit ka? Habang kami ay nagsasaya, tulog ka ng tulog! Anong gusto mong sabihin?”
“Kuya Wil, maraming salamat… Kuya Wil, pwede bang matulog?”
Willie laughed before he stood up and left.
