In a question and answer portion, he admitted that he has been really thankful for his supporters. He has also shared an advice that his father told him. “Anak, patawarin mo na sila,” was what his father, Ramon Revilla Sr., advised him to do regarding those who he has clashed with in the past.
As it was his first time in years to be out of the center, he admitted that he’s still not getting used to it. “Namahay ako,” he said.
“Hanggang ngayon, hindi pa ko nakaka-pahinga. Di pa ko nakaka-recover talaga dahil yung pagod, stress, lahat. Kaya medyo nag lose rin ako ng weight.”
He added that he lost about 15lbs and Annabelle Rama has commented that it the weight loss actually that made him look younger.
Bong has also said that he already visited some provinces like General Santos, Cotabato, Nueva Ecija, Panggasinan, Tarlac, Pampanga, and areas in Cavite during his first month of freedom.
Regarding his decision to run as Senator at the upcoming 2019 midterm elections, he said that he really has no plans to take part before. That all changed when he saw the results of the survey that was conducted to 25,000 people. He stated that when he saw that there are still people who believe in him, he made the decision to run for a position once again.
On the lighter side, he said who he is 100% sure on joining this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival. And who are his dream leading ladies? After a bit of teasing from the attendees, he finally answered 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach and Eat Bulaga‘s Maine Mendoza.
Among the attendees of the luncheon were Bong’s wife, Lani Mercado, and their daughter, Gianna, Tirso Cruz III, Andang Ynares, and Eric Quizon.
