- Bong Revilla is grateful to the Lord for proving his innocence.
- He was imprisoned for four years inside the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame.
- Lani Mercado, his wife, said that Bong is still adjusting to his new environment.
Bong Revilla was eventually pleaded “not guilty” after four years of imprisonment. The former Senator was grateful that his innocence was proven and thanked God for not abandoning him alone.
Upon release, Revilla’s first stop was to pray in Imus Cathedral before going home to his house in Bacoor.
The former actor-turned public servant then gave a speech that described his experience inside the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame.
Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado, Revilla’s wife, expressed that the four years of imprisonment wasn’t easy at all for Revilla. In fact, on their way to Bacoor, the first words he uttered are: “totoo ba ito? o Nanaginip ba ako?”
She added that the Bong Revilla is still under the adjustment period.
So, may ganu’n pang pagtingin. Nasa period of adjustment actually siya.
He wants to celebrate mass as a sign of thanksgiving.”
Lani Mercado shared that this will be their best Christmas yet.
