Netizens speculated that Barbie Imperial and JM de Guzman are having problems after their romantic tandem in the now-defunct drama series Araw Gabi.
De Guzman is accused of using Imperial to reclaim his reputation in the showbiz industry.
After the series Araw Gabi ended, JM continued to act as if he is courting Barbie. In fact, on November 12, he gave Barbie a teddy bear and a love letter.

A few weeks after he sent the love letter, fans were easily dismayed when they found out something about the actor, or at least was suspected on.
De Guzman and Ramos recently had a movie together in Kung Paano Siya Nawala and fans suspected that the young actor is also flirting with the Kapuso star.
Although unconfirmed, Barbie’s November 27 cryptic tweet fueled the rumor. The female young star wrote on Twitter, “Young but not stupid.”

Prior that day, November 26, JM stressed on social media that he and Rhian are just friends.
He posted a photo on Instagram thanking Ramos for the friendship.

Rhian replied to JM’s post also highlighting that they only treat each other as friends, nothing more.
However, reading Barbie’s tweet the next day, it seemed like she is not convinced at all that there is nothing between the two.
Ramos and De Guzman thought they’ve already clarified their side of the issue, but the Netizens found another fault against the Kapamilya young actor.
They said that he only apologized to Rhian and never to Barbie. Netizens continued to blame JM while he stood firm in defending himself.
In another comment, the actor no longer held down his frustration and addressed the Netizens about making conclusions out of allegations.
Both Barbie Imperial and JM de Guzman have not released any statement regarding the issue.
