After three months of medical leave, the veteran news anchor Mike Enriquez back on 24 Oras.
Enriquez had to take a three-month medical leave because he had to undergo treatment for kidney disease and also need to undergo a heart bypass surgery.
Evidently, he lost some weight, but he still looks healthy.
In an interview, the news anchor thanked the people who consistently checked on how he is doing while on leave.
He said that it feels nice to be back. “Very nice. Masarap.
“Andaming nag-text, tumawag, nag-Tweet na ‘welcome back’. Hindi ko mapapasalamatan lahat sa dami nila pero nakakataba ng puso.
“Lahat sila isa lang ang mensahe. Sabi nila ‘we miss you’. Ang mensahe ko naman sa kanila, kung na-miss n’yo ‘ko, one hundred times, mas higit na na miss ko kayo.”
Prior to appearing on 24 Oras, Enriquez started his day by hosting his morning radio show Super Balita sa Umaga on dzBB.
